A visionary Mahabir Pershad Jain Thekedar, in 1912, at the time when “New Delhi” was being conceived, started a business by the style of Mahabir Pershad & Sons at Chawri Bazar, Delhi. Pioneers in Sanitary trade & building materials the business touched heights when his eldest Son Lala Sham Lal Jain, a principled businessman, joined him. Along with his brothers the business spread far & wide in the country. Shri Jinendra Persad Jain, s/o Lala Sham Lal Jain, added paints business by the name of Sham Lal Jain & Sons in the year 1941. A futuristic, he expanded with new ventures at M/s Sham Lal Jain & Sons (SB) in 1977 & M/s Sham Builders Stores in 1978.

RADIONICS was added by him in 1984.
